The typgraphic elements are purely made to help the brand be recognized easier. However, lets get into the meaning of the company’s name here. The name is a combination of Duct + Flair. Duct meaning a HVAC piece that is essentially the symbol and resemblance of the first product idea for the company (making an HVAC dedicated software), that was influenced by a co-founder (Daniel) and father of two other co-founders (Jorge & Gonçalo), being that it was the work of his life invested into that industry.
Flair in this context, as per definition: “a special or instinctive aptitude or ability for doing something well.” is also tied to the mastery of Daniel in the HVAC industry, and also what the team assembled ( Gonçalo, Tiago, Lara, Jorge, Daniel ) in the beginning of the company had as a mission to accomplish, the ability to innovate CAD design.
